Thinking of you. I have been reliving the last 57 years and there are certainly a lot of wonderful memories. Please know I am there in spirit and will see you in a couple of weeks.
Love to Carol, Debbie, Doug, Diane and Donna Kay and the rest of the Applegate family. Bob will certainly be missed, but will definately be remembered.

If there could have been a Mayor and First Lady of Wilkinson it would have been Bob and Carol. They did so much for the community. I also remember them at the ballgames sitting a few rows from the floor in the middle section and Bob rather vocally making sure the refs were doing their jobs correctly. He will be trully missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!! May God Bless you all.

Thinking of you I often have. Your dad was an amazing man and I felt like I knew him through you.

Great man with lots of great stories. The fire dept would not be what it is today without Bob and his influence. A true Wilkinson legend.

Bob was a great guy. My grandpa Earl and I went to visit Bob and Carol on their boat down in Ruskin. It was great to see them happy and enjoying the relaxing warm winter down in Florida. Earl & Roberta enjoyed getting together with Bob & Carol for dinner and cards. It was a great home away from home for all of them and I was blessed to be able to share some time with them all.

Bob was always a kind voice and a sympathetic smile at the funeral home, especially when one was needed. A consoling smile and a pat on the back as a youngster when my grandmother passed certainly helped me and countless others I'm sure.

My sympathies to the family of Bob Applegate. He was a very good man who had the knack of making people feel comfortable and at ease even in sad circumstances. I have very good memories of my contacts with this consumate professional.

Tom and I wish to express our sympathy for the loss of Bob, he was such a great person and teacher to all he was near. Tom learned a lot being around him. Bob, JOB WELL DONE.
God Bless.

You already know what a impact Bob had on our community. His presence will be felt for many, many years to come. I know he was a bright spot in your family as well and you will miss him greatly. You are in our prayers for comfort and peace as you walk through this valley.
