Tribute & Message From The Family

Harry B. Grandison, age 75 of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday morning, March 13, 2013 at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield, IN.

Condolence & Memory Journal

With deepest sympathies to Harry's Family. We do not know one another but Harry's Grandmother Marye Simmons Grandison and my Grandmother Sarah Simmons Harlan were sisters. I do remember Harry's parents along with his Aunts and Uncle Jack when I was little. It is so hard to loose one's parents. My parents HarryE. and Madalene Kennedy Harlan both passed away in 1992.
Once again so sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to read of the passing of Harry Granderson. I read it in the Banner today, which I get a week late here in Texas. Harry was the big guy down the road, he was my nighbor when I was a little kid. I have many fond memories of visiting with he, his brother and his Dad in the old barn and watching them milk the cows. You never know what influence you may have on someone that is watching. I later became a dairy farmer and still run a small cattle and draft horse operation today. I have many strong memories of Harry, his work ethic and his love of farming. God has a plan for all of us. We need to continue to seek his will. With Love Pat Chase

He will leave many precious memories for those whose lives he touched. May the memories of the times you loved and shared help you and your family through this difficult time. The heart has its own memory.and in it are enshrined the precious keepsakes. God Bless You All!

Harry, we will miss your smile, the warmth in your heart, the love in your eyes, the way that you listen and care...
We will miss your laughter, your jokes, and your whopper stories.
We will miss the touch of your hand, the sound of your voice, the comfort of knowing you're near.
We will wait for tomorrow, another day closer to when the hoping is ended, the wishing is over, and we see you again...

We are so sorry for your loss. Harry was a wonderful man. We worked many years together at Ford. He made the days go by with his smile and good nature. When he retired it was no longer the same and it was hard to go to work everyday. I sure miss him. I know he is happy with God now.
Our thoughts go out to the whole family.
